Words are not enough to express my feelings about the trip in Venice. It was a good experience. My husband and I knew the history of how the city was first built. Caroline tried to tell us everything about that mysterious city. She took us the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Doges' Palace, Bridge of Sighs. She was really a decent and prudent woman. We had a great time together. The Gondola had given me an enjoyment most of all, it was one of my favorite things to do in Venice.

I went to Italy last year. Stunning country with stunning places. It was just unbelievable to be in such a place like Venice. People were amazing, food, drinks, streets were very narrow. I have never seen cities where is used only Vaporettos, Gondolas (maybe It was just a new experience for foreigners lol ). I went Lido park which is amazing also in wintertime. That year for me was really unexpectable but at the same time mysterious for me.

There are only two ways to get around Venice: on foot, or by boat. Instead of barreling buses, clattering trams you will find vaporetto, gondola, and traghetto. A vaporetto is a water taxi or waterbus. The gondola  is a traditional, flat-bottomed Venetian rowing boat, well suited to the conditions of the Venetian lagoon. Traghtetto is used only to cross the Grand Canal at various points where there isn’t a canal-spanning bridge nearby.

Late spring and early summer are the best times to visit Venice. But the city during these beautiful warm days is packed with tourists, meaning that there can be long waits to enter museums and sights. In July and August, it’s not just hot but also very sticky.

Italy doesn’t always mean pizza. Eating pizza in Venice isn’t recommended as it’s not going to be any better than a cheap pizza you can make at home. Restaurants in Venice don’t have permission to have real stone ovens so they bake their pizzas in electric ovens. But don’t worry – Venice has tons of other exquisite culinary options so you can definitely be satisfied!
